Review: The week before Christmas, I had planned to drive up to northern CA. I hadn't planned to use my car, but at the last minute, a change in plans made that necessary. Unfortunately, a drip had started from my rear differential a couple weeks prior, and I hadn't found time to get it fixed. I literally called AWS at noon the day before the trip and explained my situation. Without missing a beat, Larry said, "Don't worry - bring it in, we'll make sure it's ready for your trip". When I dropped my car off, it was obvious they were very busy. As I later found out, they literally rearranged their schedule, moved my car before less urgent jobs, and had it fixed within a few hours. Throughout the process, Larry must have called me three or four times to keep me updated on what they found, how much it would cost, and how long it would take. His last call was actually to tell me they were done - early. All I can say is - Wow! Unbelievable customer service. They don't treat you like just another business transaction, or just another job. In my case, Larry went above and beyond - not just to fix my car, but to help me out of a jam. The following day, Caleb called and left a message - just wanted to follow up and make sure everything was in working order. I was actually driving on my trip at the time and couldn't pick up (sorry Caleb!) - but I just want to say that I appreciate the call. It's refreshing to find a company that actually takes pride in their work! For anyone reading this review - does this scenario sound familiar: You take your car to a mechanic, only to find the experience incredibly intimidating, you're not sure if you're being taken advantage of, you feel like you are at their mercy, and when all is said and done, you wonder if you were just scammed? Admit it (even all of you guys!) - we've all been there. Well, take it no more. All I can say is that, from my experience, Larry is an honest and open guy - easy to talk to.
