Review: My 2001 Windstar had 206,000 miles on it and was hesitating on acceleration. It had never had a tune-up of any kind other than oil and air filters. So imagine a Ford product actually doing that! The 206,000 mile plugs and wires were replaced and a tune-up was performed. The car worked better but the hesitation on acceleration was still there and now the check engine light came on blinking. I brought the car back and after a substantial effort the coil was found to be defective. Once replaced the car seems to be running quite well with the best acceleration in some time. In fact I might actually get a ticket.
