Summary: Nice people

Review: I spent over $1700 on a new fuel pump and alternator. My vehicle is running worse than it ever has. It starts slow now and runs rough at 45-50 mph for a few seconds. I am debating whether to go back for a third time to fix or taking the next step, I will say the people there were polite.

Reply: Hi Lynn, I am sorry you are having trouble with the car. I remember the first time we ever saw your car when it was towed in for a bad fuel pump. If you remember at that time we had no history of the car and we decided to get it running first, then look the rest of the car over and go from there. Once running the alternator light was seen coming on and off as well as the car showing it was overdue for a great deal of other running and service items such as spark plugs and an oxygen sensor as well as an alternator that was going out. After asking if you wanted to stop at just the fuel pump or catch up on some engine service that was due plus an alternator that looked like it was starting to fail, you decided to wait. A short while later the alternator did fail. We did replace it and recharged the battery. Unfortunately when the battery went dead from the bad alternator it also weakened the battery and caused the cars computer to not have the correct voltages to run the car well. The battery had tested good and not wanting to spend any more money than necessary we did not ask to replace the battery on Saturday. Tuesday when you stopped by we were glad we could take care of the battery for you at no charge. Please do not forget to replace the spark plugs and oxygen sensor as soon as possible, because right now the car is using more gasoline than it should from the worn out sensor and the spark plugs are almost done also. When they fail it will run very poorly again. We understand it can be difficult to catch up then keep up with a cars maintenance after it has fallen behind. We are proud that you have allowed us the opportunity to help you with first identifying what all is good, what is due for repair now and what services need to be done next. Were about building trust and relationships with our customers. We have been doing this for over 18 years and have had the pleasure to watch several generations of our customers grow up and become today's drivers.
