Review: I would tell them the service was great and I appreciate receiving photos of what was looked at for my state inspection. I would also tell them that I was completely dissatisfied with the person who was at the register. I don’t even know why I debated coming back, I should have just declined setting up a return appointment. For starters, the person asked if I was military and proceeded to tell me “guys are easier to peg for military”. Don’t even know what that’s supposed to mean, and mean to me. Second, at the end of my visit, he said “you’re not from around here, are you?”. In which I said I was not. I’m which he replied “I mean, not from this country”. What the fuck is that about? Yes, I’m from this country. No, not from Virginia but, yes, from this country. In this day and age, how insensitive and oblivious can a person be thinking that those types of questions and statements won’t offend a person or, worse, cause a person to completely go off the deep end? I have lived my entire life being the target of racist remarks and discrimination. This center needs some serious training in what DEIA is and how the behave accordingly. When it comes to being a customer, it’s not my job to educate that company’s employees on how not to behave in such an offensive way.
