Review: Since you asked: I was referred to this shop by a friend as a new customer. This is not my usual repair shop but it’s convenient to work and the referral was positive. The service at Tim’s seemed good initially. Dropped my vehicle off on short notice and they tried to look at it that day but I had to bring it back. No big deal. Made an appointment, was seen and provided an inspection report of the issue via text. Very convenient! They provided an estimated cost list along with a diagnostic fee. News to me!! During this experience, I spoke with members of the service department on two different occasions and never once was told of the $135.00 diagnostic fee!! Along with the added cost of the repair it was entirely too expensive. When asked about the diagnostic fee the service member answered that nothing was free and provided an apology for the omission that was very unapologetic. Will be going to my usual repair shop for this issue and future ones. Maybe I’m naive to this, but feeling scammed and taken advantage of. $135 out of pocket and my vehicle still isn’t repaired. Will not be referring anyone here.

Reply: Mr. Miller, I am sorry to hear that you were not happy with your recent service. I since spoke with our Service Advisor and it seems as though there may have been a small breakdown in communication. When diagnosing a vehicle, it requires time from our technician which is a service. This is standard practice in the automotive industry, we do apologize that you were not aware that there would be a cost associated.
