Review: Ask questions! I brought my car in for new brakes as per dealership advice. (I normally always go to the dealership, but thought I would try to support local.) I had requested pricing on the phone but was told it couldn’t be provided without seeing the vehicle and getting a vin #. Ok, I ASSUMED it would be about the same price as the dealership quote maybe a little more. I will admit that was on me, NEVER assume. When I dropped the vehicle off, I told them this and there were no noticeable issues, just routine maintenance. The bill was over $200 more than the dealership quote! There was a $70brake diagnosis fee that I didn’t understand and it was explained to me that they did a total brake diagnostics so that’s what that was. I didn’t ask for that, so I was a bit upset. Again, I know I didn’t ask enough questions so I paid the bill and will go back to the dealer next time. I’m disappointed because I would like to support local business and the people were friendly, but I can’t afford to over pay that much!
