Summary: Fair and quality work

Review: The front desk staff are excellent. They really care about their customers. My experience with one of the mechanics at AutoHaus didn’t go well. My Cayenne was dented and scratched while the mechanic was working on it. The mechanic attempted to fix the dent without informing the owner of AutoHaus and without informing me. I recognize that this was completely beyond the owner’s control. The owner of AutoHaus fully covered the body shop repairs. However, I spent $900 on engine repairs at AutoHaus and the check engine light continued to flip on every time - above 50mph. Also not the owners fault - Porsche has clearly engineered some sensors that are far too tight on the tolerance levels. Just got back from the Porsche dealer today and for $285 they diagnosed - 1) Coolant regulator does not stay closed. 2) Possibly the coolant regulator is stuck open and/or the regulator housing has an internal crack. Hopefully I can work out a deal with the owner of LB AutoHaus - where I purchase a new Genuine Porsche thermostat and possibly a new housing and AutoHaus can install the parts and provide me a discount on the shop fees. If I can work out a deal with AutoHaus I would definitely upgrade my review from a 5 rating to a 10 rating. AutoHaus is truly a great business and it’s clear that it’s run by very honest people.
