Summary: Great communication

Review: I brought my car in for an ac repair on 3/16/22. I received a call that I also needed a new power steering pump. I was later informed that the first pump they installed failed, and they had to replace it with another one. I called for an update and to see if my car would be ready to pick up on 3/17 around 4:45 pm, and was told, "They're putting it back together now, but it's pretty close to the end of the day so they might not get it done in time, so you'll be able to pick it up in the morning" I picked up my car on 3/18 and assume that everything is in good order. Then, only 2 weeks later on 3/31 I pull into my driveway and the power steering fails, and I have at minimum half a pint of fluid on the ground. I immediately called and told the shop about the issue, and Brad tells me that, "they don't have any openings until Wednesday, but if you bring it in we'll see if we can fit you in somewhere". How generous. I bring it in right then and leave it overnight. And then it stayed there all weekend. I got a text from them on Monday 4/4 saying they put in a third pump which also failed, at which point they diagnose that the pump was never the problem, it's a pressure hose that's restricted. How is this not found before the first pump fails, rather than after the third pump? I call them on my lunch break to find out what's going on, and they tell me that they'll order the part now, and somehow it's not covered under the warranty, and that the pressure was fine when they installed it. I highly doubt that, I think it was the end of the day and the technician didn't want to stay late and skipped testing the pressure all together. I also think that Brad here assumes that a woman bringing her car into a shop won't know enough to advocate for herself and will just agree with whatever he tells her. He has been condescending and dismissive throughout this entire transaction, and judging by other reviews, this is a common problem with him.
