Summary: The work on my vehicle..

Review: The work on my vehicle was just completed so actually, I don’t know yet if it resolved all the problems. I hope so.... and will come back if not. The staff were pleasant. The office area clean. My disappointment is that the estimate was considerably lower than the actual cost, but no one alerted me to that difference. (1) I thought mechanics were supposed to notify the customer before proceeding with the work and (2) why the obvious and/or potential costs weren’t mentioned. The difference was almost another 25%. Yes, I hope the work resolved the issue and yes I’ll return and yes I’ll be better informed about the repair costs. Who reads this? Owners? Management? And why are there only two choices re: recommendation? The real answer is : I don’t know yet...

Reply: As we discussed over the phone, there was an error in our estimating system which caused the quote given over the phone to be lower that the actual cost for the work, and is was not caught until you arrived to pickup your vehicle. It is our goal to provide accurate estimates and to notify our customers if additional issues are found that would result in additional cost and obtain approval prior to commencing the work. Thank you for bringing this to our attention and giving us the opportunity to correct it. We apologize for the error this time and hope we can be given a chance to re-gain your trust.
