Summary: Honest and fair

Review: I could only get gas in my truck at the rate of $.10 each time I tried. It took more than a half an hour to fill my tank. I took my truck to MD Automotive. They analyzed the problem and told me it was caused by a faulty fill line device that was under warranty by Dodge even though my truck is 11 years old. No charge for the diagnoses. I took my truck to the Dodge dealership. They 'fixed' the problem but it took 16 days in their shop to get it done. The next time I tried to put gas in the truck I still had the same problem. I took my truck back to the dealership. Now their diagnoses showed a faulty pressure canister and an obstruction in the gas tank. Not under warranty - Estimated cost to replace canister AND gas tank = $1,600+. I told them I wanted a 2nd opinion from someone I trusted, so I retrieved my truck and took it to again to MD Automotive. They analyzed the problem - No obstruction in gas tank and when they disconnected the pressure canister and blew some air through it, it seemed to work fine. They took the truck to a service station and put 3 gallons of gas in it with the canister disconnected. Gas went it fine. They reconnected the pressure canister and put another 3 gallons of gas in. No problem. They called me and told me they thought the problem was solved. I went and got my truck. Total charge $54.78!!!! And that included 6 gallons of gas. It is impossible for me to give high enough praise or a strong enough recommendation to the folks at MD Automotive for their honesty, analytical abilities and business acumen. THEY ARE GREAT!!!
