Summary: Go with Confidence

Review: Godfrey Auto is a GOD SEND! THEY SAVED ME from a Potentially Terrible Automotive future; not to mention a Wasted 2 Day round trip to South Easton, MA. If I lived within 50 Miles of them, I would ONLY have THEM work on my vehicles. Allow me to explain. It is their INTEGRITY I base my confidence on. I had put a Deposit on a Car over the Internet; after Talking to the Salesman, AND, me ‘unwittingly concluding’ all he said to me proved the Car was “In Great Shape”. Even the CarFax report showed REGULAR Maintenance and “GOOD”. My Gut feeling was Bothering me (probably a Guardian Angel > I would like to think). Two days before my departure, It dawned on me: I’m an AAA member; find an AAA approved Garage near the Car’s location and see if they could check the Car out for me. Out of Many, they were the top ranked on the AAA website. My first call was answered by Samantha. I explained the situation and that I needed the car inspected. She asked who the seller was; and said they do Business with them. I asked If there would be any Conflict of interest; She assured me not. All subsequent calls were with Colleen. When I called the seller to let him know what I was doing; all kinds of excuses came up why it could not be done on such short notice (he could not find a Driver, he was not going to be there, etc). Colleen said that she would go pick up the car for the inspection. I put Her, Him, and Me on a Conference call to work out a Solution. In My opinion, Colleen’s Assertiveness Made It Work. The next day even before I paid them, Colleen called me and said: “Do NOT buy this Car; it will NOT make it back to NY”. I had them progress with the Inspection and Report detailing ALL OF THE ISSUES. The price (which I Believe was EXTREMELY REASONABLE; given normal labor costs) was WELL WORTH IT. With the Report, I was able to secure a Full refund. It is the TRUST that counts in an Auto Mechanic; and, the Integrity that Godfrey Auto put forth; in that they Potentially jeopardized Future Business fr
