Review: If you own a BMW, HANDS DOWN, the guys at German Auto Sport are the best people to take it to. My husband and I truly cannot thank the reviewers at Yelp enough for leading us away from the disaster that is Weatherford BMW and into the capable hands of German Auto Sport. Chris, the owner, is extremely friendly, professional, and probably the best mechanic I have ever encountered. It's almost enough to wish that all of our cars were BMWs just so that we could take them here (maybe one day when we're filthy rich!). We had previously taken our BMW to another mechanic to get the battery replaced. Little did we (and apparently that mechanic) know that BMWs aren't like other cars, where you can just replace a battery and go... nooooo... for BMWs, the car battery actually needs to be registered with BMW so that the car can intelligently adjust itself to use the battery effectively. Talk about being too smart for it's own good, right? Chris took a look at our car, and was able to find out the problem right away. He promptly informed us about what the problem was in detail (which we completely appreciated), and gave us the cost, which was very reasonable compared to other places. Customer service is definitely king here - there are absolutely no hidden fees and surprises come payment time, the mechanics are obviously proud of their work and love BMWs, and they make sure you leave feeling 100% satisfied. In our case, Chris even offered to talk to the other mechanic for us and to deliver our old battery back if needed, free of charge. Seriously, why can't more mechanics be this awesome?? Needless to say, we were just completely blown away by how great everything is here. Sure, they have nothing but glowing reviews here (understandably!), but you seriously need to go here and experience it for yourself to truly understand just how great this place is.Bottom line - if you own a BMW or any German car that needs any sort of repair - go to German Auto Sport. Your car (and wallet) will thank you for it!
