Review: I highly recommend 59 Auto Repair for a buyers exam of a vehicle. We unexpectedly had to buy a new used SUV, and I decided to do a pre-purchase check of the SUV via a AAA rated facility close to the car dealer. I called 59 Auto Repair to see what they offered and spoke with Jim. He was professional, courteous, and he explained the extensive one hour check they do of a vehicle along with the detailed report I would receive. Jim and another staff member carefully explained details about the report to us, and gave us a print out to take back to the dealer. They found the vehicle to be in great condition with the exception of some minor maintenance items, and also an oil leak. They could not determine the exact cause of the leak without further examination, but they listed two common causes known with the vehicle. I was able to take their report back to the dealer and the dealer agreed in writing to have his mechanics look for the problem and fix what was wrong. It turned out to be one of the causes they had listed, and the dealer replaced it at his cost.
