Summary: This was my 2nd time..

Review: This was my 2nd time to use Lion's services. Negatives: 1. Service was slow both times. This time I was told that if I wait for it, it could take 1.5 hours for them to do the diagnostics needed. It took 3, and although I was right there, no one apologized or updated me on revising the time needed. 2. Cost isn't outrageous, but definitely not cheap. If you're used to *dealership* prices, you're bound to be happy. There are other good AAA-approved shops in the area too. There's even a small, less busy one just behind Lion's in the same little strip of repair shops; I've had good experiences there too. Positives: 1. Quality of auto service. The work done was done right. They document what's needed and what's done. If you want technical specifics, they're provided. 2. Knowledge. Most repair shops use after-market repair parts. With many years of experience, Bob knows where to get the combination of price & quality that Lion's can stand behind. The mechanics have access to a database; if they don't already know how to solve a quirky problem, they can look for other mechanics' solutions. 3. Warranty. If you're in AAA, you'll get a 24-month, 24,000-mile warranty on parts & labor. 4. Atmosphere. Friendly office staff, fun-loving banter, complimentary drinks and rides (sometimes using Uber). Both the waiting room and bathroom are *very* clean & comfortable. No grime or blaring TV, like some shops!
