Review: Two weeks after having my Jettas thermostat replaced, it stuck open again. I returned to Viking (early morning, with no appointment) where Paul quickly went to work on my car, removing the thermostat and finding the cause of the failure: a piece of plastic debris had found its way into my cooling system and jammed the new thermostat in the open position. While Paul had been working on the car, David called a local VW dealership to confirm the part number for the thermostat. To his surprise, the dealership provided a different part number than they had two weeks earlier. Despite the fact that my thermostat's failure was due not to Viking's workmanship, or the part's failure, but to debris in my coolant system, David didn't charge me anything since they had inadvertantly installed the wrong part two weeks earlier.
