Review: For years a friend of mine kept telling me that Westlake Independent was a great outfit. As my car became older, I did need service and gave them a try versus the dealer. I have never seen a shop like this; they give you a printable report with color pictures describing what they find as they service your vehicle. You can choose to do the repairs or not, as you discuss the items with your service advisor. They do the work well, at a good price (AAA discounts), and on time; they will take you home and pick you back up, which became important when we became a one-car family. I showed the full color reports to my brother-in-law, and he said, "I can't even get my mechanic to speak English!"
