He is also provides the BG Service protection plan which I highly recommend if you have a car that you want to keep for life. Ask him about it if your mileage is less than 35K or 70K. Well worth the money and a lot cheaper than an extended warranty.

The delay time to shutoff seems to vary between less than a minute to several minutes. I have observed that once the engine is running properly, I can shut it off for short times and then it will restart ok. However, if it sets for longer periods of times it will not start properly.

I see how they see me. Nothing works. Sometimes gifts come when you listen. Old friends swore by 'Charlie'. "Even my wife is comfortable there. He's amazing!" Oh, yeah? I don't know... I started snooping. While investigating this Charlie person, I read that he claimed to love a problem that others couldn't solve, especially electrical. (Egads, does such a person exist? Certainly not. Not these days, anyway.) The ultimate test of tenacity and knowledge. Electrical. Shudder. I never knew that'd be me..... and Charlie..... and the ultimate test, the SHE-DEVIL...... MY car. Glinda the Good Witch says it's always best to start at the beginning. It started out as routine repair stuff, listening out of pure desperation to my friends, out of any other hope. Time after time, it was true. Hmmm. The guy ALWAYS delivers. Then it happened to me. The electrical problem from HELL. The untraceable crack in the untraceable wire. Round 1, we thought we had it. Round 2, for sure this time. Round 3, after UNBELIEVABLE tenacity and sheer will... he solved it. Why? Because it bugged him. NO other mechanic would have gone to the lengths that he did. And, if they did, you couldn't afford it. Believe me, this guy's the real deal.
