I'm a young guy, or at least I was when I started bringing my car problems to Eastside Bavarian, so I was very appreciative of the respect I was treated with at every visit. I would generally just go to buy parts from these guys, and they're always so helpful, making sure that I get the right parts and that I'm getting everything I need to successfully complete a project. I recall at one point I took my car in to them for a transmission issue, they took it in and did a good ol' mechanics diagnosis. They took the car out for a drive, plugged it in to their computer, checked voltages and a plethora of other examinations. I was very happy that they did an extensive diagnosis coming back to me with a detailed "this is what we found, this is what we would do" as opposed to the typical, "you need a new transmission" (which is what everyone else had told me). It's hard to come by true mechanics now a days; you can find them at Eastside Bavarian. As much as I felt good about that, another time I decided it was time to replace my valve cover gasket. I stopped in to Eastside to pick up the gasket. So now I'm home with the car taken apart and come to realize that this was not the correct gasket, I double and triple checked to make sure before I called... I called, Ken picked up and indeed, by part # we deduced that this was the wrong part. Ken took the correct gasket and drove it down to New Castle for me to my house. As long as I will own a BMW or a Mini, I will continue taking my cars in to Eastside Bavarian for any service and buying any parts that I need, from them. They didn't have to do what they did in the way that they did it, but they did, and that matters to me.
Thank you, Igor
